BINNACLE LIST

 (As of 18 July 2010)

Bill Redd:  Bill has a mass about 6-8 inches long on the back of his esophagus about half the size of his esophagus.  The Doctor told him that because it's located behind his heart, it does not lend itself to surgery.  A new scan shows that the cancer has spread to his lower back and lymph nodes.  The Doctor says that chemotherapy should control it for a while (?).  He is now dealing with the shock of the news and trying to come to grips with it all.  Please send your thoughts and prayers to Bill at PO Box 66, Delmont, SD 57330.

Jim Schenk:   Jim Schenk is in the Albany Veterans Hospital, 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, New York  12208-3473
Tel: (518) 626-5000.  Jim has been fighting Cancer since 2007.  Calls or cards would be welcome, please call first if you want to visit.

Mike LaRoseMike has been transferred to Lyman 207, Gaylord Hospital, P.O. Box 400, Wallingford, CT 06492.  It's a long term acute care hospital where he has started rehab, and at this point, if he remains medically stable, they expect him to remain there for a month.  The neuro team from Yale does rounds there and if he has any further issues that they can't handle at Gaylord, he will get sent back to Yale New Haven.  Visiting hours are from 1:00 - 8:30 pm or you can drop him a line at the above address.  He's in good spirits - really tired, but mentally ready to move on and get back home.

  Bless you all and remember

that the Higher Power is within each

of you and is waiting for your need

of guidance or assistance.
