MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL COSTS

            We now have three (3) ways for you to pay for your

                                   Membership Renewal!

Shipmates,                                                                                                                                                                     We sincerely hope that you will continue your membership at USSVI Groton Base.  Multiple year renewals are encouraged at the prices indicated above to avoid annual renewals.  There is a slight discount for National Dues for Multi-Year Renewals.  The following are the three ways to renew your membership:

#1 You can continue to renew your membership the old fashion way by stopping by the Club House with cash or a check, made out to U.S. SUBVETS, and give it to the bartender or any Base Officer that might be there.  If you choose this way you can also stay and enjoy a bowl of chili and a beer if you want.

#2 You can use a little technology and fill out and print this Membership Renewal Form, then send it into the Club House, with a check, made out to U.S. SUBVETS.  This will cost you a stamp but it is easier with our busy lives.

#3  You can now move into the 21st Century and renew your membership dues online!  As promised we have completed a secure site where you can pay for your renewal with your credit card online.  All you need to do is fill out this Membership Renewal Form and click the "SUBMIT" button.  This will e-mail the completed form to us and then send you to the Online Membership Renewal site, choose your type of membership, how many years you want to renew for and click the "BUY NOW" button.  You will then be on a secure PayPal site where you can input your information and follow the instructions.  If you use this way it is fast, safe, and gives you more time to do other things, like stop down to the Club House for lunch.

    If you have not renewed your membership please remember that the grace period has been shortened.  Here is what the USSVI Bylaws state, "An annual member is in good standing through 31 December.  If not renewed by 1 January, he becomes a member NOT in good standing, i.e., dink.  If he renews thru 31 January, his membership seniority is unaffected.  If he does not renew by then, he is dropped from USSVI as a member.  He can rejoin at any time, but his membership seniority begins with his latest join date." and this is the policy Groton Base will follow.

    What does that mean for you as a member, it means Renew your membership before 31 January 2010, especially if you are planning on being inducted into the Holland Club this year and are not a Life Member or you are planning on sponsoring someone for a USSVI Scholarship.
